We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Division Administrator to join our team and help manage both the administrative and operational sides of our irrigation division.
Position Overview:
The Irrigation Division Administrator will play a key role in supporting daily operations—balancing both office and field work. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Excel, and a willingness to learn the ins and outs of irrigation systems. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and be eager to grow alongside a skilled team of irrigation professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily coordination of irrigation division activities, including scheduling, work orders, and field support.
Create and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and project tracking tools in Excel.
Support material ordering, inventory tracking, and job costing documentation.
Work closely with managers and field crews to ensure accurate communication and documentation between the field and office.
Assist in system setups, inspections, and minor field verifications as needed.
Learn and utilize irrigation management and scheduling software (experience with irrigation platforms is a plus).
Help analyze irrigation data to improve efficiency and performance.
Maintain accurate digital records and assist with billing documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data entry, etc.).
Willingness to learn irrigation system components, controls, and field operations.
Prior experience in irrigation, landscaping, or construction administration preferred but not required.
Knowledge or experience with irrigation software a plus (e.g., Hydrawise, Rain Bird IQ, Weathermatic SmartLink, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to balance office tasks with field responsibilities as needed.
Valid driver’s license required.
