Position Overview
The Bilingual Safety & Fleet Manager is responsible for leading company-wide safety initiatives and overseeing fleet operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and accountability. This role works closely with field leadership, operations, HR, and executive management to promote a proactive safety culture while ensuring our vehicles and equipment are properly maintained, documented, and compliant.
This position requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking team members.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Management

Develop, implement, and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and training programs

Conduct regular jobsite safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments

Lead safety orientations and ongoing training for new hires and existing employees (English & Spanish)

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective action plans

Maintain OSHA compliance and support workers’ compensation claims and documentation

Partner with leadership to reinforce a safety-first culture across all divisions
Fleet Management

Oversee company fleet including trucks, trailers, and equipment

Manage vehicle assignments, tracking, inspections, maintenance schedules, and repairs

Ensure compliance with DOT, insurance, registration, and internal fleet policies

Monitor driver behavior, incident reports, and vehicle usage

Maintain accurate fleet records and reporting

Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, repairs, and replacements
Leadership & Communication

Serve as a visible leader in the field and across branches

Communicate safety expectations clearly and consistently

Support supervisors and managers with coaching and accountability

Translate safety materials and training as needed (English/Spanish)
Qualifications

Bilingual (English & Spanish) – required

3+ years of experience in safety management, fleet management, or a related role (construction, landscaping, or similar industry preferred)

Strong working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices

Experience managing company vehicles and equipment

Excellent organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills

Confident communicator with the ability to lead and influence teams

Proficient with technology and reporting systems (fleet software a plus)

Valid driver’s license; clean driving record preferred
